How do I schedule a session?

Who will photograph my session?
All boudoir sessions are photographed by Holly exclusively and no one else will be present in the shooting area. She can guide the posing, but if you have ideas, please feel free to let her know at anytime. To view her photographic work please visit her website www.cakesandkisses.com
I’m nervous, what is it like?
It is normal for most people to feel nervous before and when they arrive. Spending time getting your makeover should calm your nerves. By the end of the session everyone says how much fun they had.
How do I prepare for the session?
Iron and use hangers to bring outfits that can wrinkle. Wear loose fitting clothing and undergarments when you arrive so that you don’t have red marks on your skin. Bring outfits that you like and make you feel good, confidence shows in the images!
Don’t forget your favorite accessories, like hats, fishnets and high heel shoes.
How many outfits should I bring?
Bring a few options, and there is no limit. Bring more than you think you will need, you never know what you might decide to wear. There is only two costume changes so two of the most different outfits (looks) works best so you get the most out of your session.
Make sure you let Holly know what theme or ideas you have beforehand.You can also email her some images you would like to re-create. Wear the outfit that you feel the most comfortable in first. Bring something strapless if you are uncomfortable topless for the “in-between the sheets” photos.
Will you post my images on the Internet?
We will only display images on the web that have been approved by you. For your own viewing, we will provide you with images on the DVD. If you would like the images are edited for “online viewing” more family and friends family, please let Holly know to include them on the DVD.
What does the session include?
About 40 minutes of photography and all the images on a DVD. You are able to make prints and copies of the images and contain all the rights to reproduction. However if you would like a collage or an album there is an additional cost.
Do you supply clothing?
Clothing is not provided. Avoid lots of patterns because solid colors are generally the most flattering. If you want to bring sheets or blankets to cover the room to look more comfortable that is acceptable.
What is included in the makeover?
The makeover includes full Mary Kay makeup. Simple hair styling is included, but anything too exotic allows more time, so let Sandra and Holly know how much time you need for your look to be completed.
False eyelashes are recommended, but not provided to all clients. If you know you have an sensitive eyes, please test the eyelash glue prior to coming to your photographic session. Bringing your own makeup brushes is also recommended for sanity reasons.
Can I bring a friend?
You are welcome to bring a friend with you, but after your hair and makeup is done, we ask them to wait out of the shooting area. This ensure privacy and an outstanding performance because there is no one watching.
Should I bring props?
Props can make your images special for your significant other. Some ideas include flowers, cowboy hat, birdcage veil, candles and romantic sentiments. Props relating to your partner’s personal interest or profession is usually the images that make the best statement as a gift.
What is your cancellation policy?
If you can not make your session, we ask that you find someone to fill your place prior to the photographic session. Due to the scheduled nature of the shoot we are unable to offer refunds of deposits for no-show. If you arrive more than 30 minutes late, your time and deposit are non-refundable and your time slot forfeited.
What if I am not as skinny as I want to be?
You are beautiful the way you are.
My job as a photographer is to emphasize the positives and minimize any areas that you are self-conscious about.
