Fullerton Arboretum + Jayden

I had so much fun shooting Jayden for a Fathers' Day present for his Daddy.

He loves his Firetruck!! Daddy and Jayden!


We went to Fullerton Arboretum




It is always nice to have a Fireman Daddy that does so much for all of us, to be able to do something in return.

I think that I was so happy that he was dressed all faded jeans and checkered retro top. It matched perfectly.

maternity by holly

I am not really into babies, motherhood, pickles and ice cream (well maybe just ice cream) or any other idea of having a family. I do dig the clothes being all cute around the waist though...

It took me by surprise when I said yes to doing a maternity shoot for my friend Lisa. We have been friends since Jr. High, and she has always dreamed and hoped to be a mom. Really, she and my other friends even had baby names picked back then. (I didn't of course, but I had pet names picked out)


But it just goes to show that they were always thinking about being more than just themselves and what was happening in High School etc. They thought about the future and to having a family and children to love, while I was thinking of puppies and kittens...



We did the shoot in her home, Castaic. It was a cloudy day, and I think that was perfect for the overall light of the day.


It was soft and lovely for Lisa to get into full maternity photos mode. Granted Tori Spelling took maternity to a whole level of fashion, but I think that Lisa handled herself with a lot of grace and beauty.

Circle of Life and Weddings

As a wedding photographer nothing makes me happier than to see or hear from brides. Any news... be it that they are moving to a different state, they got accepted into Law School (Yay Paul), or that they had a baby!

I shot in 2006 Tanya and Ben's wedding in Colorado Springs, Garden of the Gods. It was so beautiful and lovely. In 2008 they had a little baby named Zach. He has his moms' nose and his dads' sense of outdoors. They invited me back to Colorado to be a part of his first birthday party and take some photos. I couldn't be more honored.

Rocky Mountain High!

So this past weekend I shot a birthday party. Not just any birthday. A FIRST birthday party! Joy!

This couple got married at the Garden of the Gods in 2005. Awesome. I heart them. I don't know if it is the fresh air or just the wonder of how sweet Coloradians (?) can be... Their wedding photos are on my site.

Being a photographer you begin to realise that you can make a larger impact with images, than with any other influence. Here are two foundations that I dedicate time and photography.




An organization, Operation: Love ReUnited sessions are for deploying, deployed and returning military families. Operation: Love is site that give patriotic hope and families the love and support soldiers need overseas.
I am participating in this group to show my deepest USA pride, and honor. The site has a simple phase that captures the essence of it all... Giving back to those who ask for nothing more, than to come home. Patriotic Portraiture.

It is a wonderful and heartbreaking. A dear friend suggested offering my photography services after her healthy baby boy was born.
