Earlier this month I shot a wedding at the fabulous "Beach House" in Catalina.

This Saturday is going to be totally different. It is going to be at the Wrigley Memorial & Botanical Gardens!! How Romantic! Then the reception is going to wisk everyone away to the Country Club. Yippe.

I will let you know how it all goes!

Yay!

I am simple.

I think... But that is probably where the complications come in.

So here are some lovely photos. If you want more go to http://www.cakesandkisses.com

Engaging Couples

Really "i do" love it all.
Here is a website for wedding proposals: Proposal Stories Too!

Last night I went to a Los Angeles Dodgers game with my boyfriend and his parents. It was great. I have a slight obsession with the "kiss cam". This is when the huge jumbo tron goes around the stadium taking shots of couples kissing. I have yet to be caught sneaking a peck with my honey, but I always do enjoy it.

Oh boy! They had a proposal!! It was so exciting. I saw him get down on his knees and then my tears started welling up. It was sooo sweet. I feel a nudge from my boyfriend and he is laughing.

But the best part is to have my boyfriends' mom lean over and say to him "You two should do that".... Yay 2 points for my soon to be Mother in Law!!

So what that I cry just at the thought of people being happy and in love. :)
I just can't help it. It is so great to see people in love. I usually only get to see the wedding day... so to see the start of it all is really fantastic.

If there are any Grooms out there, thinking ahead. Please, oh please, contact me before you ask. I would be happy to do a proposal engagement session. (And I promise not to cry too much) To capture the moment when he gets on his knee and asks. JOY! (Just give me a ring, and I will be there too)

For the less sentimental... Here is a video I saw that makes me laugh and cry
If you dig pranks this is a good one

Officially Un-Official

My new site is going to be HollyPhotographie.com

Keep an eye out for it in the next coming month. As of right now, it is a Hodge Podge of Holly madness and endless nights of running my hamster wheel. I will have something grande and Woo Woo coming up in the end of September before Project Ethos.

So until then keep busy and make sure you have your pom poms ready for the launch party that is going to take place in cyber space near you.

Piece out,
Holly

Zach

Zach is an amazing 7 month old baby. He looks at the camera, he smiles, he drools and he is adorable. I couldn't help but take a photo with this little one. And Zach has a cute furry family too that had their noses in some interesting places.

Here are some of the photos. I couldn't resist giving him a little woo woo.

Love,
Holly

Top Top Today!

Please with Ice Cream and Wedding Cake on top!!

Vote for me I am at the top!
Vote for me... I am the cute one

Love love love!!

My assistant Vanessa, oh how I love her.

She is the one that helps me shoot the wedding, fluff the dress, and make the babies smile.

In addition, she is the one capturing me doing the funky chicken, eating treats, and oggling the wedding cake. On the wedding we shot together at Ayres Hotel in Manhattan Beach she handed the DJ her camera and he captured this moment.

Just Can't Get Enough..

Who knew that Depeche Mode could be so sentimental? Well, I love weddings, photography and everything that has to do with cuteness.

Tomorrow I am flying out to Colorado Springs to complete the circle of life for a happy couple. (Well not the complete circle.)

Colorado Springs Wedding

I am going to shoot a their 6 month old baby! Yes, I did engagement, wedding and now baby and family photos. I am so excited. I can't wait to see if the baby has daddy's eyes and mommy's lips. :)

I really just wanted to share that I just can't get enough of this lovey dovey photography stuff. It is the perfect career choice for a love happy girl like me.

Wedding Season

Chirping birds, bubbling champange, giggling flower girls and flavorful dinners says "Wedding Season". It is amazing on how there are only four season, when truly that isn't so, there are five. You see the unique thing about Wedding Season, so suppose to dorky fall, or gloomy winter, is that Weddings in California, can take place all year round.
Yup.

Thank goodness for glorious wedding season. I hope you last all year round.

We can't all be Daniel Son...

Don't get me wrong. I love me some Mr. Miyagi, but we all don't have that sort of guidance in our lives.

Photography is my guiding light. It keeps me level and happy.

In the attempts to have photography pay my bills, I am enhancing my craft, getting better equipment and mastering my photoshop skills.

Here is a link to an engagement session I did on Sunday. I am so happy with the couple and how the images turned out. I couldn’t be more delighted with how sweet they were. A true innocence to their relationship and love.

I can only hope the aura of creativity surrounds me on their wedding day.

Thanks bunches!

And just so you know who ever thought that a handyman/martial arts master agrees to teach a bullied boy karate and shows him that there is more to the martial art than fighting. It is more than fighting to me too, Mr. Miyagi.
